Safe Packing and Handling of Cargo

Based on the principles within the OEUK Best Practice this course covers the fundamentals of packing and handling cargo within CCU's.

Description

The course covers classroom training in,

- Responsibilities and duties

- Dropped objects

- Carriage of goods by sea

- Non-conforming cargo

- Documentation.

There will also be a short practical session where delegates will inspect, load and lash cargo within a CCU.

 

Additional Information

This course will be carried out on the customers site to allow practical exercises to be as realistic as possible.

This may alternatively be delivered at our training centre in Dyce but will not contain a practical element.
