Course Objectives
Article 18 of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 states that competent persons should assist the responsible person in fire safety measures. Therefore, fire wardens (or fire marshals) must be appointed and adequately trained to ensure fire safety measures are effectively implemented during an emergency.

- To provide the learner with sufficient information that will enable them to discharge their duties and responsibilities as a Fire Warden within their designated workplace.
- To provide the learner with sufficient information to enable them to identify the types of fire extinguishers in their workplace.
- To provide the learners with sufficient information to understand how fire extinguishers operate without putting themselves or others at risk.

- Fire-fighting equipment i.e. fire extinguisher
