Air Cargo Aviation Security Training
If you work within the cargo sector and require unescorted access to air cargo or mail you may require air cargo security training provided by a CAA Registered Training Provider
Description
Pentagon Freight Services provides security training for known consignors, regulated agents, and approved sub contract hauliers aimed at those who require unescorted access to air cargo or mail.
The courses are tailored for anyone working in such an environment whether handling, driving, screening, or the security manager and ensure those involved have the necessary knowledge and skills to undertake their role.
These courses are approved by the CAA and can be completed online allowing the delegate freedom to complete the training when convenient.
In compliance with the legislation and before registration delegates must have Standard Background Check (SBC).
Known Consignors
The syllabus for known consignor training was revised in 2022, Modules 1-11 cover the syllabus from basic security awareness to training for those responsible for security and is dependent on the individual's job function.
An assessment will be provided at the end of each course.

The new 2021 regulated agent syllabus brought about many changes in accordance with EU2015/1998 (retained in UK law) and is as follows:

Supervisors must complete all modules relating to the functions they are supervising, in addition to the modules mentioned.

• Local Managers
Managers must complete all modules relating to the functions they are supervising, in addition to the modules mentioned above.
National security managers must complete the Aviation Security Managers course.
An assessment will be provided at the end of each course.
Recurrent training must take place at least every 24 months, except module 21 which is required every 36 months.
